Celebrate The Glory (CTG) of God’s Word in God’s Family

When: October 18th, 2008 at the Sedalia Center in Sedalia, VA- just outside Lynchburg, Virginia. Located at the base of the glorious Blue Ridge Mountains.

The goal of CTG is to encourage and inspire families to love God's Word so much that they desire to read it together every day!

Speakers and Musicians include:

Unfolding Drama (www.UnfoldingDrama.org) is a ministry sponsored by www.NoGreaterJoy.org The Rozeboom and Brand families have the passion and gifting to make Bible stories come alive using stories and drama.
The Durocher Family (www.DurocherFamilyMinistries.com ) from Minnesota will be providing the music gospel bluegrass style. They have a great love for God’s Word and family. Ten of their twelve children minister together in music.

Ken Jenkins (www.KenJenkins.com) is a nationally known natural history photographer, writer, lecturer, and outdoor adventurer. For more than 30 years his photographs and articles have appeared in publications from National Geographic to Southern Living. Ken's galleries, Beneath the Smoke and Heaven's Eyes, are located at the west entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where he has been exposed to the 12 million visitors that have entered the park since 1986.

Eric Wallace (www.unitingchurchandhome.org) is the Founder and President of The Institute for Uniting Church and Home, which is the co-sponsor for Celebrate the Glory. The mission of this ministry is: To encourage, inspire, and train church leaders in uniting the efforts of the church and the home to fulfill the Great Commission. God has used Eric’s book, Uniting Church and Home, to spark a discipleship revival in families and churches across the nation.

Marc Jantomaso (www.simplydevoted.com) has been a local church pastor for the past 15 years. He has a great love for families and for God’s Word being lived out through families. Marc believes that the dark world we live in not only needs to hear the Gospel, but they need to “see” the Gospel lived out through radiant, Light-shining, God-glorifying families.

Dr. John Neal: previously ministered at the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation as a full-time counselor and teacher under Wayne Mack and with Tedd Tripp (author of Shepherding Your Child's Heart). After working there from 1989-1997 God called him to the pastorate in Richmond VA , where he currently serves. John will deliver a message this year entitled: "Capturing Your Child's Heart Before Someone or Something, You Don't Want To, Does."
Other workshops this year to include:

* Family Worship / Family devotions: How do we begin? What do we do? Why is family worship imperative to imparting a Biblical worldview? …..Presented by real families with a real love for God and His Word and a love to encourage others to experience the real joy of families worshipping together
* Ministering together as a family: How can we minister together as a family? How can we “make disciples of all nations”? ….Practical examples of families fulfilling the Great Mission God has called Believers to fulfill.

Note from Shelley: We would so love for all of you to come to this wonderful event. If any of you need accommodations' please contact us! We would love for you to stay at our house! Rebekah and/or Jonathan and Grace are doing a Gospel Chalk Talk during the lunch time. We are also having a 6:00 pm Family Fellowship at our house Friday 17th preceding the conference. All are welcome to come.
